I just bought this vintage Aero X LVC jacket, but I’m not sure it’s me. Thinking of flipping it.
This jacket is a collaboration between Aero and Levis Vintage Clothing. LVC calls it a Large, but for this style of jacket, I reckon it’s somewhere between what Aero calls a 40 and a 42... Or what most jacket manufacturers call a 42.
19” in the shoulders, 22” pit-to-pit, and 25” in the arms.
I’m happy to take additional measurements if you need them.
Condition is excellent with zero damage. Lining is immaculate and looks basically new. The leather is in fantastic condition. Overall, it doesn’t appear to have been worn very much... Almost seems like someone bought it back in the day, and then stored it. Please note that I removed the long white tag yesterday. I can’t stand long interior tags in jackets, lol.
The jacket is constructed of CXFQHH that has been tumbled, washed, formed, and then hand-aged by Aero. They actually detail the process in the “Breaking In” page of their website, under the “501 Method” section. From what I can gather, the jacket was then shipped to LVC’s workshop in San Francisco, where it was “styled and tailored”... I assume that means some additional hand-aging was done, as well as the little stitched details.
I’m just trying to recoup what I paid. $550 plus PP fees and actual shipping. Trades for other jackets happily considered.
CONUS only, please. Local sales in Los Angeles welcome. I’m a pretty new here on Fedora Lounge, but I’m a long time member of Watchuseek, a wrist watch aficionado forum, where I have many successful transactions and plenty of references. Thanks for looking!
