This is our precise replication of the original 1936 Type C-3 Vest. Although lesser known than most USAAF Shearling Flight clothing, the Type C-3 was a very popular optional garment, perfect to wear under a Type A-2 or one of the lighter weight Shearling Flight Jackets such as the Type D-1 or Type B-6. Like the original issue garment, our Type C-3 is made from short fleece lamb shearling, the seams are overbound in horsehide leather and the vest closes with a WW2 replica Talon zipper. The vest also features a replica WW2 label.

There's little to add to Aeros' description for this vest, as it's in excellent condition! Please note that this vest is, as Aero states, intended to fit close to the body, so it's recommended that you size up if you plan to layer underneath it.
C-3 Vests are VERY VERY rare on the secondary market--a testament to how attached their owners become to them as a result of how easy they are to wear! The current wait time for a C-3 from Aero is between 16 and 18 weeks, with a price of $650 plus shipping.
So, how about a far more reasonable $275, or offer, boxed, shipped and insured in the USA?
