Stunning photos- Thanks for sharing those and taking the time.
So true re: conservative style - gives a much wider range of wearability in life.
The sleeve zips give just a tad bit of of edge, but still conservative.

It's absolutely perfect. This is what I wanted with my HWM w/ top sleeve zips. I got a really great jacket but this, THIS is what I wanted. Perfect classic UK / US blend of styles, its got that Dominator vibe albeit a bit more tame but just perfect for just about any occasion, while also being a full on biker jacket at the same time. Extremely well put together, every detail just right. Collar is 100/10.

I agree with @sweetfights that the sleeve zips give it that edge it maybe wouldn't have with standard sleeves. I'd probably have insisted on shoulder gussets which would've messed up the jacket.

On a side note, this ought to age unlike anything else on the market! First you get the electric blue fades and then the brown core starts showing through.

The sleeve zips give it a biker vibe, I prefer zipped sleeves on my casual jackets for this reason but they look even better in the board racer configuration. I wish I’d thought of this when I started buying these a few years back.

Here’s a crumby fit pic. I really don’t want to spoil this beautiful thing but man. I’m as geeked as I think one can be over this jacket. I spent many sleepless nights worrying about the premier pattern.

Wow! Lovely HWM in its best!
P.S. Was almost sure initially it'd be HB Ton)

I had the best f intentions to do an IG worthy photo shoot with this jacket but laziness has once again prevailed. Must be the heat. Here’s the full Monty. Color is more like the earlier pic but here is how the premier fit in a 44” fits me. Somewhat reminds me of an LL dominator. I couldn’t be happier with how this puppy shook out. My all time fav Aero to date. Has a slight moto vibe but still very much just a casual jacket.

It's like the blued steel on a fine grade magnum revolver. Ace!

I've never had the desire to own a blue leather jacket until now. I don't understand it, I have so many other outerwear pieces in navy, Peacoat, wool chore coat, navy waxed Barbour just off the top of my head. I don't know why navy blue leather never occured to me. @ton312 you have lit a fire that'll be hard to extinguish until a blue leather is in the rotation :).

I’ll ban myself. LOL. This one isn’t going anywhere. I can’t afford another dip in that pool. I’ve finally learned these more conservative styles tend to be much easier to wear and easier to hold onto b/c of it.

I still think there are 8 or 9 TFL members who are already making space in their closet "just in case"...

Meh.. it’s ok.

Kidding. Just wanted to put a little balance in the thread. Enjoy sitting in front of the AC wearing it for the next 60 days. Looking forward to pics in the fall.

Nicely done! Had an order of my own ready to go but wound up not being confident I could get the fit right—seems like I’m a tweener in aero sizes.

Was working on a bootlegger with a slightly more MC flair. Could never get straight answers on standard measurements so I could tweak. Once I lost confidence in the process even the draw of the leather couldn’t keep me. Langlitz isn’t far from me and has a nice navy goat I might look at.

Thurston Bros. fit jacket process could help there. I went direct this time only b/c I’m fairly confident with my size and Aero has made enough of them for me to know as well.

I thought I'd log in to the the Lounge this morning after a weekend off the electronic devices and now I feel, having viewed this thread, like I just drank two of those crazy energy drinks like Red Bull. I'm buzzing with blue-leather-inspired electricity . . . I can only quote those great and timely words of our friend Sweetfights: "I believe this represents peak achievement and acquisition." The collar, the colour, the fit, the yoke at the back . . . Supremo, Tony, just supremo.

Thanks Benny! Appreciate the kind words man, this jacket really did bring together a whole bunch of elements from my others in a neat and tidy package. Sleeves from my CR, collar from my HB... really satisfied this go round. The color really is the crown jewel. It’s like blue cordovan. I haven’t quite been able to capture it fully but it’s chocked full of marble goodness.

So next jacket a cordovan & blue midnight combination? ;)

I’m really beginning to think it’s better I don’t see one in person if the new Midnight CXL is the blue equivalent of what Cordovan is to brown.....I think that would be a force too strong to resist...
