Aero Leather Ridley in Black Vicenza. The leather is medium-weight, very supple, and very grainy. 3 pocket front with 2 buckles per side. Tagged size 42 but please see photos and below for measurements.
Just picked this up from tweedydon who got it from gmcd in early June. I love it - it has the most amazing grain I’ve ever seen - but the lack of shoulder gussets and rotated sleeves make the fit less than ideal for a riding jacket for me, and since I wear leather 99% for riding, I’m moving it on. Moleskin-lined pockets are an extra nice touch which I will specify on all my jackets going forward! Thanks also to Gregor for allowing me to re-use his pictures. If you want a fit pic, just let me know. Really bummed this one didn’t work for me - it’s the nicest spec’d jacket I’ve ever owned, but I think it confirms for me that Vanson is my personal sweet spot for riding jackets.

A gorgeous custom jacket from Thurston Bros. Rough Wear! This is an Aero Ridley in Black Vicenza Horsehide, size 42 with added body and sleeve length. Extra features make this a distinctly custom jacket: three-pocket front configuration, one-piece back with curved kidney panel, Light Tan contrast stitching, [sic], nickel diamond pulls on front pockets, double side buckles, Minto Check Tweed lightweight wool Lochcarron lining, black cotton drill in sleeves, left side interior pocket with no closure, and zip-sleeve cuffs. All pockets are lined with velvety soft, yet super durable moleskin.
This jacket is brand new with tags. The Vicenza Horsehide leather is medium weight, so it doesn't have much of a physical break in (compared to Chromexcel FQHH). This leather is VERY grainy...just incredible!
