Aero Leather Western Wrangler Jacket - Year?

Hello,

I hope this is the right thread to post in, but I wanted to ask whether anyone knows anything about this Aero jacket? I know that it is quite old, and that it appears to be steerhide (connolly?). I wasn't able to find any similar listings on ebay or on google and it is no longer made by Aero.

If anyone knows anything about this style I would highly appreciate it.

Oh! Never seen one of these before. The red stitching on the black really pops. Nice detail that it's zipped (and a not to the pleats, too) like the 1947 denim original. When Wrangler brought the denim one back in their recent 'Icons' series a few years ago, they took away those features, gave it button studs like any other jean jacket, and messed with the proportions, which was a shame. This version looks really nice.

@Hide'n'seek will be able to identify this one's era.

Yikes, I hope they[r'e not made now, or I'll have to add yet one more jacket to my wish list....

Yeah it's a really unique one and fits pretty accurately like the Wrangler denim jacket. I tried reverse image searching for this on google but no luck. It must be really old because there seems to be no pictures of it online.

I bought one of these from ebay (most probably from you?). It developed a tear in one of the gusset and currently with Aero for repair. They said its an old one and most probably a custom job. The leather was pretty thin tbh (not sure if because of drying out or the material used).

Will post more pictures once I get it back from Aero
