Hi, I was thinking about selling my Aero leather jacket and was looking for some advice on what would be a reasonable price to ask and best sites for selling it on . I’ve attached a couple of pics of jacket. Thanks Scott

Depends on how patient you are. I sold all my remaining Aeros (4 of them) for very little money, like 250€ average.. but I just wanted them gone and did not care about the money.. your jacket is a Cafe Racer, used to be a fairly popular model before Japan took over the market.. leather appears to be Horween Horsehide.. if you are patient, you could probably get 450-500€ for it once the right buyer comes along.

As for trading platforms, if you are EU-based, check out Vinted. If you are US based, probably Grailed..? Not sure.

+1 to jacketjunkie, I sold my two aeros last month for around that much as I wanted to "clear the deck" for new jackets that fit me better and weighed a lot less.

Best place to start would be a search of the classified section here for "aero" and sift through the threads one by one over the past few years. Aero makes a superb jacket and unless the hide is in bad shape or the jacket has been heavily/weirdly modified, there should always be a secondary market for them.

A few months ago I sold a nice halfbelt in the same size for around the £350 mark and I was happy with that as a quick sale, I'd bought it used and paid about the same for it a few years before.
