It was a quartermaster b-3 size 44 . I got it cuz my Eastman is a 44 and fits good but wanted longer sleeves, so I jumped on this with its 27" sleeves but didnt care for the fit everywhere else, cuffs were way to tight and the whole thing swallowed me up I thought. It was a very very substantial jacket , certain things I loved and certain things just didn't work for me . I loved the fleece and leather, so rich! So much character! But also wished the fleece was a little tamer ..just alittle shorter on the collar and cuffs and such. They seemed to address this in yours. Yours looks a little neater then mine did. I think they addressed that issue on yours . Yours looks a bit like a cleaned up version of mine if you know what I mean.
What size was your Aero? 44"?

Funny thing is everyone says get a roomy size for your B3. If I had got a 44" it would swallow me up. My chest is 41" expanded, so the 42" is more than big enough. Don't think risking a 40" would have been right.

After reading extensively on here, I knew it was the back and arms that would be the tricky part.

I like the D1 jacket too. I would get a seal version to contrast my redskin.

Yeah. I see what you mean. The cuffs and waist seems a little overly fluffy.

Still, a nice jacket, but when you're paying a hefty price it's gotta be right.

The quality and weight of these jacket are awesome though. :)

They sure are, that's why after I sent it it back I vowed to another. The quality was so amazing I said to myself I need to have one so I sent it back and said hold onto my refund because I want a custom one that fits right . I just sent Christine my measurements for a redskin D-1 so they can get started . How long did yours take ?

I love redskin D-1's!!! Bring it on! Are you going for full authenticity and having the D-1 made with quarter-inch shearling, without pockets, and with a triple-marked Talon zipper and prewar-style label without the AAF property indication? The low-depth shearling and no pockets help the D-1 to look less boxy, I think.

Thanks but no it's just their standard Redskin D one with pockets etc. UOTE="HPA Rep, post: 2202616, member: 31793"]I love redskin D-1's!!! Bring it on! Well, I really do love redskin D-1's and we don't see enough for my taste, so please post pics when you get this. Best of luck with this, too!
