Aero Jerky seal question

Hi, I’ve recently bought an Aero in this leather and it’s great as always, but one observation is that the finish seems incredibly shiny, almost glossy and much more so than other Aero leathers I’ve had before. I’m assuming (hoping) that the high shine will calm down a bit with wear but just wondering if anyone’s got any first hand experience of this. Thanks

Yip,I've had mine for probably 10years or so,the shine will die down after some wear and a couple of rain soakings.its a great horsehide. I would pick this leather over fqhh every time.

Yes, seal jerky dulls down and the topcoat thins at points that get wear: they become a lighter brown/pale colour. The change isn’t uniform, mainly edges. Jerky is a really nice hide - flexible, slightly lighter and good for daily wear.
