AERO HIGHWAYMAN IN STEERHIDE, WITH DONEGAL TWEED LINING.

This jacket is fantastic.... and an absolute bargain at just $195, or offer, boxed, shipped, and insured in the USA!

I bought this from Corky (or maybe Guppy?) for $225 (I think) so $195 shipped sounds fair... but offers are welcome! I'd rather you wore this than it sat on my chair mocking me for being weirdly shaped.

Size 38. (But, you know, this is a HWM, so it runs large...) Measurements:

Chest: 22 1/4 (Armpit to armpit, at the end of the leather)
Sleeve: 25 (straight down)
Sleeve: 25 3/4 (round the curve)
Shoulder: 18 3/4
Length at back: 23 1/2

I love this jacket! Cut from a beautiful brown steerhide that likely took years to break in, the leather of this jacket is not soft and pliant... but still extremely study. (This jacket might be able to stand up on its own, although I haven't tried this.) The body of the jacket is lined in an absolutely beautiful--and nicely warm--Donegal tweed; the sleeves are lined in cotton drill for ease of wear. It carries its original "Aero" leather zipper pull.

This jacket has storm cuffs at the end of the sleeves for warmth.

As with all Highwaymans this features a back V yoke, side adjusters, two deep moleskin-lined handwarmer pockets at the front, a period-correct Talon zipper Deep moleskin lined hand-warmer pockets, grommets under the arms for ventilation, and a classic 1950s cut--making this size 38 suitable for a modern 40, also.

It's in lovely condition. Aero notes that your Aero jacket will look its worst on the day you receiving--the patina developed through everyday wear is what gives a real leather jacket like those Aero makes its true beauty.

This jacket has beautiful patina; the scuffs, crease, and marks of a well-loved jacket that's ready to give decades more service. It does have some very small holes at the hem of the Donegal tweed lining, and the shoulder--but these can easily be ignored or else readily fixed.

Any questions, please ask!
