Olive looks great on black! I have to agree with Edward. I've seen quite a number of Aero MC jackets that were either brown or black FQHH and had olive drab contrast stitching...they all looked great. A very subtle detail.
Also it's historically accurate since many wartime flightjackets were stitched in olive drab, dark sage or dark caramel colour.
Olive stitching on seal goatskin halfbelt:
Off-white or cream would look incredibly cheap and "mall jacket"-like. Such a top stitch colour would ruin even the best jacket for me.
The contrast is too strong escpecially since Aero uses 3-ply gauge 30 thread which is quite thick and well visible.
