For sale: Aero Leather Hercules in black, front quarter horsehide with a green, quilted rayon lining.

The jacket is size 50, with an extra 2" of length added to the sleeves and body.

The chest size feels smaller than on the label. So would probably suit someone who's 46" to 48" better.

The length is ideal for someone of my height - around 6'3" or 6'4" (1.90 to 1.95 metres).

The jacket has been lightly modified: The chest pocket has been removed, and a pair of inner pockets (one on each side) have been added.

The zip broke a couple of weeks ago, and the jacket will be going back to Aero for a repair. It's currently got a Talon, but this could be replaced with an Aero branded one, which are reportedly stronger.

The jacket's starting to get a patina, but doesn't look heavily worn as yet. There's a bit of wear in the lining, though this could be repaired when the jacket goes back to Aero.

I'm selling the jacket to help with the new one. This one's a bit small for me now. (Too much time at the gym...)

Rick - thanks for the compliment.

I'll post sizes on Sunday, as I'm going to be away for a couple of days.

Price? Aero have offered my around $350 as a part exchange. The second hand prices seem to be around $350 on this forum, and $450 to $500 on Aero's website. So I was thinking of something like $350 + zip replacement ($50) + postage.

The following measurements are based on a set from the Acme Depot's A-2 page, minus things like cuff width that aren't relevant. For a full description see:

http://www.acmedepot.com/a2jacket/measure.shtml

Chest across: 27"
Front length: 32"
Back high (shoulders) across: 24"
Back low (chest) across: 27"
Back length: 32"
Sleeve upper: 27"
Sleeve lower: 21"
Armpit to armpit (internal): 27"

I'm afraid that these pictures haven't come out too well, as they were taken with a phone type camera in poor light.

I'll see if I can get my other camera working again...
