My Eastman Luftwaffe is in a dark brown CXL. It is truly a striking color. I may wear it today as it has only been out of the closet a few times this year. I have mostly been wearing the Sheene to get additional graining and patina on it.
I say go for it. You could ask Aero to send a sample. It is color you will love.
