This jacket is two days old. Bought it brand new straight from Aero Leathers.
This is made from their THINNER chromexcel front-quarter horsehide, which is lighter and more pliable—liberatingly unwieldy compared to their conventional CXFQHH. Yet, this Cafe Racer possesses a significant feel, like molasses in the hand, and when worn it feels like a secure hug. It is the ultimate everyday jacket.
You can already tell that, when this jacket breaks in, the brown will swirl through the over-dye black an it’s going to be even more a killer jacket with masculine patina. The sleeves have already started to crease even with minimal wearing, and when you continue to wear this jacket, the creases will get crazy. And the grains so far—NUTS! Just a beautiful jacket.
This is Aero’s trainee label, and Aero states that this trainee did exceptional work with stitches and craftsmanship—nice and straight stitches and with quality build. I looked over the stitches and they’re as straight and even as the ones on my custom Aeros for over $1300.
I paid about $650 to have this one shipped from Aero Leathers in Scotland and it arrived (to Northern California) just two days ago (11/1/19). I just came into some extra money this weekend and have decided to purchase another Iron Heart leather jacket, so I’m going to move this Aero at a significant loss.
$450 PayPal and I ship to your door an incredible CXL FQHH Cafe Racer that’s literally only 2 days old (worn only to the library with my daughter!).
