To me this is a total coin toss. I certainly don't think it looks too short. As others have said, the key is how you feel in it. Go with that and that alone. Praise or comments to the contrary won't help that jacket get any additional wear if you aren't all in.

I think this is the sentiment I've been leaning toward all along and just couldn't quite articulate it, even to myself. Saculer dumb! Not talk good.

I don't think it is cut too short in the front. It hides the belt buckle, which is my requirement. Keep it. A good fit all around. But then your opinion is the only one that matters.

My latest A-2 purchase just covers my belt front & back which is the way I like it...I have other jacker styles that suit being worn somewhat longer
