This GORGEOUS jacket was made on 20th January, 2020... and made it to its original owner (a Lounger) in the United States just before Covid hit! He tried it on, it didn't work out, and he sold it on to AeroFan who just beat me to it... and then I acquired it from him. I WANT this to fit so badly, but it's just too big in the chest for me, so it's only been tried on a few times.
So, it's here.... essentially a BRAND NEW AERO BOOTLEGGER, complete with all of its original paperwork, at a fraction of what it would now cost!
THIS JACKET:
This is GORGEOUS! It comes with several important upgrades: It is made from Tumbled Brown CXL horsehide, it features a Lochcarron tartan wool lining, and it has a deep interior pocket. All of these incur substantial upcharges from Aero.
While the body is lined with Lochcarron tartan, the sleeves are lined with olive sateen cloth for ease of wear, and to minimize the possibility of snagging. The main zipper is an antique brass Talon.
Aero made the jacket with extra material added to each side (hence the chest measurement) and it features a Western style yoke at the rear--a feature then available typically with the Premier Highwayman. It has no epaulets for a sleek appearance, and olive drab stitching.
It features zipped sleeves, like a cafe racer.
This jacket is UNWORN except to be tried on. Since it's made from Tumbled CXL it does have a couple of minor rubs on it, as shown--these could have been there when it came from Aero.
This jacket comes complete with its original paperwork from Aero.
