All my jackets for the past couple of years have been funded by other jackets, so I never hold onto them just to be sure. My trick is to archive all my sales descriptions which include the measurements for future reference. Another good idea, but I rarely do it, is to have someone take photos of you wearing them for fit reference too...

Used to hold on...now I exchange. No point in having 10 A-2's, 4 G-1's, etc (for me).

PS - Worf ol' buddy - your PM inbox is full old chap.

Yeah, I've started doing that. Has helped a lot. Lets see when the new one arrives ...

I only move a jacket on if there's a good reason, such as never totally happy with the fit or style. Need the money generated from selling on to justify new purchases to myself. I do keep a note of measurements for possible future reference.

I have a terribly hard time letting go of not only jackets. I collect a few different things, leather jackets, Knives, tools, firearms. I haven't sold any yet. I have all my jackets in a closet, tucked away never getting used. I've been thinking about listing some on Ebay but I haven't yet. Sadly even my favorites get much use. I only wear my HWM when I go out for dinner or some other social outing which are fewer and fewer the older I get. I just like to have them. My wife makes fun of me by pointing out how I take out my nice knives once in a while to "Pet" them, or to strop and shred paper while I watch tv. Also I keep old clothes and shoes, I always think they may be useful someday, my garage is a heap of stuff. I'm not quite a "Hoarder" but I may be a little wacked. The funny part is my mother was a collector of antiques and when I was a kid I hated it, I was so embarrassed by all of the junk in our house and now I'm doing pretty much the same thing.
