Asking $600 on ebay for this, but contact me here and I'll work with you on the price.

This is a fantastic black steerhide 50s HB, with grey wool lining. Excellent condition, no flaws, just a hint of wear starting to become evident if you look closely at the leather. Beautiful grain. Two handwarmer pockets and one breast pocket outside, no interior pockets.

21" pit-pit
24.25" length
25" sleeve
19.5" waist

My 30's HB in heavy Horween Steerhide has some similar grain patterns. It's a size 44, very useful and functional jacket. GL with sales.

Thanks :) It's a great looking jacket, to be sure.

I find that I've grown a bit and can't layer with it anymore. I won't be able to wear it as much as it deserves for that reason, so I'm looking to rehome it.

I hear you. I can't fit a sweater or sweatshirt , only a tee shirt under my Brooks trucker jacket I bought from Terry Mitchell 3 years ago. He said it was a 44 , I think it's a 36 lol but then again I like to eat lol.

My new Wayfarer is a 44, and works great for me. I'd been in 42 for a while before that, but in Aero jackets especially, I seem to be able to go down a size or two in some of their styles. They seem to be generously cut.

Can I ask you for your opinion Guppy? So I am size 38 chest, do you think that this ELMC size 42 L DrifterProductions is selling on Ebay would be ridiculously baggy ? When I think about it, 2 sizes up isn't that bad .

That's a question better asked in a pm... I really can't answer that, though. Fit is very personal and subjective.

It's probably less a question of whether it will fit, and more a question of how it will fit, and is that how you want it to fit. Do you want a looser fit? Is this a style that looks good loose?

The best answer is to compare the measurements in the listing to those of a jacket that you have and fits you well. Even then, there's always some error with measuring, and different styles of jacket take different measurements to fit the same person correctly.

Beyond that, if you're younger and still skinny, it may well fit you better when you are older and fill out. But I wouldn't advise to chase after a jacket that isn't your size.
