Hi guys, I managed to get my A2 grail by accident and now my other is for sale. It’s an A2 made by Arial Star - you‘ll find some very positive reviews here on this forum.
This jacket hasn’t been worn a lot. The jacket was in constant rotation with my other jackets. The lining and the leather are - apart from creasing and graining like new. I always took great care. I do not smoke and it was always properly stored. No stains etc on the lining. Zipper (high quality riri) works like a charm. After I bought it, I changed the knits to knits from either Aero or MASH - but I‘m almost sure these are MASH knits as I found a pair of Aero knits in a drawer.
It‘s not a military retro but a great reimagination of a civilian 2. The leather (chrome tanned semi-aniline steerhide) is very soft and has a nice drape, but it‘s not thin by any means. It‘s beginning to show some nice grain.
The colour is something between a very dark russet and a reddish seal.
