Its a Repro from ebay seller " Spearhead Militaria"
Its o.k but the cotton outer fabric is a bit thin . I like the Makinaw Design and use my coat also for privat casual dress.
I ordered yesterday a new on from At the Front. More expensive but i think the Quality is better !

Hi, I'll be interested to find out how At the Front's are. I'd like to get a Mackinaw from them, or possibly a Tanker's Jacket.

Thanks again

That'd be worthy of it's own thread.

Those Romans built things to last. You forget the place of pre-Islamic Anatolia/Asia Minor in the scheme of things but then you see how much was built....

I see all these great places and pictures and can't help but wonder... why did I ever come back to Wisconsin???

I often wonder the same, just insert the state of Idaho... especially when I look at my pictures from Europe

Because home is where the heart is. No matter where we go, we're always glad to come home.

Adventures is out there!

How I love to come in here at feodora lounge! You all are a great inspiration, I should come here more often.
Thank's for sharing your wonderful photos. I love exploaring stuff myself, most of the time it is small adventures, but occasionally they get big. Like when I was around 12 years old, my dad took me and my older siblings hiking in the north of Sweden and we did a top-tour on Kebnekaise which include both steep hiking, rock climbing and a 200 m slide on gletcher back down.

I've never done something quite like that again until last year when I went to Japan for a month. That was a really adventurous trip, and wonderful experience...I can tell I didn't get enough of that country yet, the nature and culture there combined make it just unbelieveable variated to explore.

I should mention this is me in the trad. maiko garb. Walking uphill in that is in itself a challenge.
If you are interested I'll try and put up some more photos from that trip.

Other than Japan, I did a couple of interrails in Europe, and since last year I've been doing Indiana Jones/Adventure weekends together with a couple of entusiasts from Denmark.

From Venice with my friend in the photos;

I should be somewhere in the back line to the left.

And I am very sorry I cannot live up to the very fine dress-code many of you represent, but I promise to try harder!
