Hello. So, I have addictions. But, I faced down two of them, smoking and drinking. Food? Still a fight. Now this one. I have always enjoyed caps and hats. Nothing name brand, until now. I purchased a Broner pork pie from Henry the Hatter in Detroit. Now, I have been bitten. I would like a Panama and a Bowler. Soon enough, me thinks.

I started out just wanting a fedora in black, brown and gray. Now I have about 50? in multiple colors, plus some straws. I'm trying to curb my habit now.

My wife often comments on my original plan to get one fedora. Now I have nearly 10, although only 3 of them see regular wear. I will also be ordering a custom hat as soon as I have a few details nailed down, and I see another in the near future. I'm not sure I'll get into the double digits (at least one of my collection will see the classifieds section soon), but that is definitely possible as it's always nice to have a variety to choose from on any given day or for specific purposes. I also have 2 flat caps (8 panel), and a beater-outback canvas that's relegated to yard-work. It is an addicting hobby, but then so is anything that sparks a passion...

Never smoked, and drink very little, I like to maintain all my senses so usually it's a limit of one. Food is sometimes hard to fight, I like good food!

Now, hats, razors, fountain pens and nice guns are another story altogether!

Obviously, all of you are of great taste! About me...Amateur stand up comedian (why the hats are important, because I wish to portray class...), aspiring actor (I actually was in a movie called "Committed Holiday" for the Detroit 48 Hour Film Festival), desperately tired of corporate America, and collect shaving brushes, mugs, and safety razors. Oh...and Hot Wheels VW Beetles.

I have a lot just purchased from the bay consisting of. royal stetson, dodds, mallory, and two unknown makers.

I am in dire search for a DARK BLUE Fedora from either Cavanagh or stetson. Then I hope my addiction turns more to keeping the hats clean and in great looking shape etc.
