Selling my Addict Clothes horsebutt engineers on the CL last. These are the narrower D-width version with Addict’s low-profile unstructured toe, made in black horsebutt that’s beginning to develop some really nice brown-core patina and rolls.
I bought these new directly from Addict in Japan and broke them in myself. They’ve been worn and are comfortably broken in, but never abused — never dyed or refinished, just cleaned and brushed. The uppers are in very good condition and the original Vibram 705 half soles and heels still have a ton of life left.
Fit has been excellent. I’m only selling because I’ve accumulated too many boots and am trying to pare things down; if they don’t sell, I’m perfectly happy keeping them.

For fit reference only: my foot measures approximately 27.5 cm. I wear a 9.5D in Role Club engineers and a 9H / Clinch 10H on the CN last. Please compare the outsole measurements above and know your Addict/CL-last sizing, as fit is subjective.
Price context: I purchased these directly from Addict in Japan, but the Japanese retail price doesn’t reflect the full cost of getting a pair into the U.S. once shipping, duties and taxes are included. ButterScotch LB currently lists the same black horsebutt engineer boot at $1,450 new in the U.S.
$1,050 shipped CONUS.
