Actual weight of a leather jacket

Would love to see some picture of new hardcore

Here you are. One of my truly go-to riding jackets but I cycle through a few of them. Had it since around Feb of this year. Love the grain and faint marbling on the back panel.

Sideways again (the eff?!?) but I am not at a computer to mess around with the photos.

Thanks for the pics JMax! The hardcore definitely has some attitude. I have a custom one that no longer fits. I toned mine down a bit with the brass hardware. I think cross zips are meant to have the chrome hardware. Probably why I love the Schott perfecto so much. A cross zip with brass hardware is like a '70 chevelle with a 350, A cross zip with chrome hardware is like a '70 chevelle SS with a 454! Both are bad ass, but one says get the hell out of my way!

Man the HC really is the better of the 2 HWM's for riding in. The additional eyelets at the waist and the zip config. That's some seriously nice hide there. Man the Vanson bug is taking hold again. In a serious way.

NP guys.

I was looking at the pics and thought to myself, damn, the hide really is looking good. With more time riding it would look great. I tell myself to focus on one for a few months then see the Chopper sitting there, or the Commando, or the Bates Highwayman, etc. I literally run through them like the pick up line at a dry cleaner. But I should focus on one to see where it goes.

To me, Vanson is tops. To really appreciate a lot of their offerings one has to ride and ride hard. Though I am really digging the LW 27 and pumped for the soon-to-be inbound LW CHP. I suspect I will end up focusing on that one to ride in.

Man put on a blindfold and just surprise yourself. You literally can't go wrong reaching into that hall of armor.

That's what I would be aiming at :D

If I were to match it to my current bike, it would be green & black.

Vanson would nail it methinks. Straight-zip or cross? There is a Vanson x T-Bird collab out there that may fit in to your collection well. If I recall correctly, you are a cross-zip guy like me so a straight zip with double rider/d pocket styling cues may work for you.

Do you have pics ot that collab? Couldn't find it for some reason...

I was looking again at their selection and they have so many interesting models... I take it they would all work well on the bike?

I am thinking the arrow or the chopper (very different models) could be good options

The Chopper is great. Never owned an arrow or one of its derivatives.

Some of the Vanson work better than others on the bike. My favorites are the Perforated Force and the Hardcore. The Force is amazing on the bike, totally disappears. Also right there is the Highwayman.

Here is the T-Bird.

Thanks! I see the Force has armor as well, the perforated version seems like the perfect summer jacket! :)

I am thinking a dual colour chopper could look special with the padded diamond stitched parts in the second colour

I can't imagine too many two-tone Choppers out there. Very cool. All CW or a mix of Vanson leathers?

Not sure, I need to discuss it with them, I haven't handled any of their leathers.
Would you mix it up if you were going for something like this?
