While I am moved by the photographs of these jackets, I am not going to be moved from need to want, despite all of the positive comments.

As @Jejupe said, best strategy for your bank account :)

The man is a genius.

What did you order RD?

Just posted it now, a cafe racer type and a grizzly. The specs are being finalised as I am looking for some specific details. The order will be placed as soon as everything is worked out. They are the reason I haven't bought any of the jackets I posted pics of. It took quite a bit of willpower to keep it to only two jackets.

So to continue from where the first post ended, I obviously went there with my #MTC-127915 in Tan Buffalo. Alexandra was quick to check it out as she had been the one to ship it. And later when Theodoros arrived at the shop, he also immediately went to examine it, checking the hide, looking to see how everything had been holding up and then said "you've been wearing it often". He really loved how the leather has darkened, I guess all these days wearing it while riding in the heat wave in London have really paid off. The sun has done a good job :)
He loves veg tanned leather because it really tells the story of a jacket, my jacket now needs to experience winter and the rain. That will be the next chapter!

I guess the best thing you can do for such a passionate craftsman is show him that you are using what he made... This is something we should all remember (not trying to be preachy, but this is something I really felt this time). And as he says, his jackets show their story :)

We discussed future jackets as well :D
So to keep it short, we are finalising the specs for two very unique jackets, one will be a cafe racer type, the other a grizzly! I will not say more for now as they are not yet fully specced. Also this one in green will be coming soon

I ordered it about a year ago, and kept hesitating on size (my weight has fluctuated quite a bit), and then hesitated on the leathers & colours. But ironically (or maybe not so much), I have gone full circle to a dark green buffalo. So yeah, this one is finally coming and the delays were all due to my indecision! I will most likely enjoy it the more because of this story :D

I also discussed extensively leather types with Theodoros, and it is very clear that he is constantly hunting for new material. I asked him about Badalassi leather and it turns out that he has recently placed the order after meeting with the owner. So @dudewuttheheck , you have a good reason to start thinking about your first Thedi :)

Also, in January, he is releasing the new collection, waiting to see how that comes out!

All in all Theodoros and Alexandra are fantastic hosts and really took very good care of me!

Did you spot there couple of 3XL jackets that should be shipping to Finland in couple of weeks? o_O

I have 2 thedi racers... and ordered 2 more thedis (racer, shawl)... hopefully will have them couple months. The stitching and fit on thedi suit me very well...

Yes, the Thedis are really nice combination of insane creativity combined with extreme attention to details finished by high level workmanship. Can't really go wrong with this :)

That's a beautiful design and I can't wait to see it in dark green.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Thedi was already on my list and is an even bigger consideration for me now! Thanks so much for the info!

This thread must be good luck. My Thedi shawl collar is waiting for me at home.

Too bad I'll have to send it back. It is a test fit jacket from Thurston Bros and the sleeves will be way too long for my short, t-rex arms.

The one you get will be completely yours

The craftsmanship is superb and the styles are so unique, Theodoros has carved out his own niche in the quality leathers market (I was going to write 'high-end leathers' but that sounds more like some frilly fashion house than these exceptional yet practical garments). The man is a true artist, in design, in treatment of the leather and canvas, in how he combines materials to come up with the end product. There are plenty of A-2 makers out there, and of course they're great, but we don't need another. Thedi's products are so different and yet in their own way timeless.

Thanks for sharing those photos and the experience of your visit with us RD. It makes me feel excited that there are such great artisans and products out there. Of course i want one now more than ever!
