That was hysterical! Especially how the cards said "energy" on them and she carried them around, but apparently they didn't work. lol

I also loved how she responded when the bid was up to $40--"And $40.00??? What are you guys nuts? There's nothing special about these cards. Are you bidding on them thinking I'll be a famous author someday?"

What a good laugh to start off the day! I feel for her with so many children as well as my own slight hatred of the little things. Glad she got such a wonderful sum for those cards looks like she deserves it!

Now the question is whether or not that auction ended for $142.51 because it was so entertaining, or if those cards truly are worth that much.

She made more than just a profit, by all accounts. The success of the auction has made her little short of a celebrity, at least on the Internet, and I understand that apparently she is signed to be writing a book about her experiences raising her 6(?) kids. All the attention has also landed her dozens of interviews, and she provides links on her blog. I was sent this auction link a couple weeks ago by a friend, and looked at a couple entries on her blog afterwards, and she really does have a great sense of humor.
