I guess I'm kind of late on this thread.
If a girl wants to play games, don't date her. That's lame. Being friends first is a very good way to judge character. And as others have said, guys are just as likely to play games as girls are. If they have fun in "games" they have fun with "drama". And personally, I can't stand either.
As far as the older guy thing, I can tell you that 75% of the guys I personally have liked are younger than me. It just depends on the girl, I guess.
There are women of character out there. You just have to be patient and weed through the rough, just like us girls that are looking for decent fellows. Keep your head clear, seek people who strive for honesty, and you'll do good.
