A Good Custom Hatter?

Hey There! I am looking for a good, REASONABLE, hatter for two projects -

1. To reproduce a hat I have (a real cheap NY Hat, Co.) that I love.

2. Bring a hat that I would design to life.

Now, I live about ten minutes from Baron Hats; but I think they're over priced and unreliable.

So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Now, another question - Where can I get the tool that makes pencil rolls on felt hats, the 1/2 inch one. Hell, I don't even know what it's called, let alone how to find one.

I am just attempting to add life to an Old thread. I found this one at about page 485. I personally have a list of hatters. As a new(er) member, I enjoy refreshing past threads. You may say it is a quirk of mine.
