The Eastman A-10's have proved 'excellent' for my requirements. I use them for open top driving and also I have been known to use them for the gardening!! Also look very smart with a trench coat and suit. Luckily I got them in a 'sale,' as I understand they can be pricey. But I've had them for several years now and are soft, yet tough 'goatskin.'
for something as substantial (or heavier) as the A-10. Is there anything out there that'll do justice to my black Aero?
Lear
Black shoe dye for 7 bucks on those A-10's
IME, sheepskin.
I thought there was a black version in the Buzz Rickson catalog?
Buzz did the William Gibson Collection... <snipped>
As a side note, I find that my Eastman A-10s are a bit small on my hands. I would advise going up one size on these. Otherwise, they are tough gloves. For me, they are good down to about -5C.
