77 Sunset Strip is probably my all-time favorite TV show, so my first reaction was "Nooooooo!" Upon further thought however, it could lead to an official DVD release of the original series, which I've been waiting for for years, so maybe it's not so bad after all. Fingers crossed!

I grew up with this and I hope it succeeds ....the ultimate cool show from the pre-hippy 60s.

I concur with Lusti Weather, the best thing that can come out of this is the DVD release of the original shows.

When in L.A. last month, I drove over to 8524 W. Sunset Blvd., where Dino’s Lodge was. This is where they filmed a lot of the exteriors for the series; there never was an address 77 Sunset Strip. In the sidewalk at that address you can see this…..
