Sharp eyes, amigo! Those are black suede cap-toe shoes I bought in Buenos Aires. (Lots of leather products in Argentina: lots of cows in the pampas.)

RedShoesGirl is an amazing photographer. We would be VERY lucky if she'd consider taking some snaps here and there of the QM event. Not the entire time, though ... even an ace photog can't lug camera stuff around in a vintage evening dress! lol


MissQueenie was a revelation for me. I've never seen someone be able to slip into a role right on cue. At the shoot, she created a "film noir" character out of the blue. I had to race to keep up with her, and what an enjoyable race it was.


We had a blast!

thank you so much marc and queenie and well, just everybody! you guys are giving me a swelled head!

i had only seen small snaps of queenie before the shoot and i remember thinking when she drove up "oh thank you god, she is beautiful!" and marc - i thought "oh my — perfect! and tall!!".

good moments — 'ok, when you are the top of the hill, run back down — whaddya mean you can't stop, queenie....aaaarrrrrfhhhhhhh"

fave quote of the whole day - during the intense "give me the jewels, doll" image - queenie to marc, "oooh, you are crushing my poofs." WHAT??!

and then she was flirting with the guys that would whistle out their car windows as they drove by. ( i felt like chopped liver)

rarely has a shoot gone so well and i have had so much fun - even if i did have to set things straight with marc early on - "you model - me director"

good sports all.
