I always had a soft spot for his Stratoliner. Still want one of those down the line.
Is the STRATOLINER with Leather Collar by NORSHOR LEATHER also an authentic example of what was available to the public in the early 50s?
(I notice it does not have epaulets compared to the original Mystery "A2" jacket posted in this thread (http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?68827-Mystery-quot-A2-quot-jacket), and the Aerial Star version (http://aerialstar.com/leather-jacket-model-7303.htm).)
Yup, the Stratoliner with or without mouton collar is typical of many civvie mid 20th century flight jackets.
I actually only just realised that this thread was originally for Mark's Stratoliner. I love the seal brown one on page 1 with the mouton collar. It's been on my must have list since I first saw it.
