The sleeves were too tight and also too long. But more importantly I’m shifting gears in the hobby. I like the old stuff, the project jackets, much, much more. Tbh I can’t imagine buying a new or repro again anytime soon.

Just be aware that vintage as good and nice as it is can't take the same beating as new stuff. Once your seams start ripping apart or leather getting damaged...you'll know what I'm talking about

I saw it on FB and had no clue they made that nice of quantity. I was hoping you posted more info on here. I know this post is old but man I want it! Was this the 5.5? Wish I saw this post years ago. It’s a 46 too!

Please believe me when I tell you that not buying this jacket should rank among some of life’s greatest victories for you. It was the single most miserable piece of clothing I have ever encountered. I would say that wearing it felt as if you were attempting to shave your naughty bits with a wheel of rotating chainsaws whilst being sprayed down with rubbing alcohol and horse radish. Very bad. Very bad indeed.

I don’t have anything from 5 Star anymore. This was advertised as 5.5oz cow. It wasn’t wearable. It’s like putting sleeves on a suitcase. I beat this jacket with a 15lb mini sledge….AND soaked it in Obernauls. It did not yield in the least. It’s just not suitable for wear man. Please don’t waste your money on something like this. For me it was a covid fueled fever dream nightmare. I wouldn’t pay a penny for it tbh.
