Doesn't look bad at all, though. Much better than the 6x1.

The slender lapels and natural shoulders may have been a new wrinkle in '56, but the 4x2 DB had been around awhile. It was the standard for sporty, patch pocketed/welt edged DB suits since the 20s, because a decorative chest button sewn over a patch breast pocket looked awful.
