Selling my Gordon & Ferguson M422a. Arguably the most desirable version of this iconic jacket.
This is a very early version of the ubiquitous G1 USN jacket. Identifiable as a Gordon & Ferguson by the wider left hand pocket with the pen slot. G&f had the contract to produce these during WW2 between 1942 & 1943.
The leather is in fantastic treated condition. Still very supple with no nicks, tears, scuffs etc. the knits have clearly been replaced with those from an A2 which despite being 'wrong', I personally think look very right. Zip, collar & linings are also non-original.
No label but size-wise i'd put at a 38.
