1940's Wool Overcoat, Tan/Camel Colored

I'm selling this beautiful 1940's overcoat by Hansen Clothing Co. from Hibbing, Minnesota.

• Single breasted
• 3-button closure
• 2 ouside pockets
• 1 vertically aligned inside pocket (image #11)
• 1939 union tag

The color is a gorgeous tan/camel (image #5 best captures it).



There is no size tag but here are the measurements:

• Shoulder: 19"
• Chest: 24"
• Length from base of collar to hem: 42 1/2"
• Sleeves (outside): 25" with 6" opening.
• Lapels (at the widest point): 4 1/2"
• Weight: 2.6 Kg (approx. 5.75 lbs)
• Sleeves have a 3/4 cuff (see image #8).

This coat is massive. It's thick, heavy and warm - absolutely perfect for this time of the year.
No holes or stains - it's in amazing condition.

A beautiful coat. The chest and sleeve measurement are in keeping with a coat I have, but the shoulder is not. How is the shoulder measurement taken?

Measurements were taken with the garment laid flat from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back. I just measured again and it's actually 19", not 18 1/2".

Asking 50 € + shipping (approx. 35 € to US, 17 € to UK, 7 € within Germany).

If you're in the US this may be a pretty penny with the shipping but then it's definitely worth that penny as it's not only a great looking overcoat - it's also bound to keep you warm once winter has arrived (and arrive it will, probably way too soon as these things go).
