(If there is already a thread about food, I apologize for missing it and being repetitive.) I was perusing a few recipe books a couple days ago, and it got me thinking about how food was prepared during the war. Have any of you prepared meals using substitues for things that would have been rationed? I wanted to try it just for the heck of it, and I was curious if anyone had experiences to share.
