This is a rare one. This hat would be considered MINT. Its been the only LEE Bon Voyage thats been found on the lounge. The felt is a gorgeous dark green heather color. It looks lighter in the pictures due to the flash on my camera. It comes with an original "travel tube" which the hat was sold and packaged with. It also comes with the original advertisement which I framed. The advertisement is dated 1947 and shows how to pack and roll the hat. Its labeled 6 7/8, but fits snugly on my size 7 head. I measure the sweatband at around 21 3/4 - 21 7/8. A little time on the stretcher would most definitely yield a regular 22 inch circumference for all you medium size 7 wearers. The brim is a bit wide for me and I dont wear it often, so Im putting it up for sale. If your interested, please PM me. I'm asking $100 OBO. Dont be shy, make me an offer!

The dimensions are as follows:

Open Crown: 5 1/2 inches

Brim: 2 5/8 inches

Sweatband circumference: 213/4 - 21 7/8 (6 7/8 or small 7)

Rbbon width:1 1/6 inches wide

Another on the altar of custom Art Fawcett? A very cool hat, but one I must pass on.
THAT IS THE BEE"S KNEES! But my melon is just too big! Wow, I'd be on that so fast...
+1
I had a dream the other night that awesome little hats started to fit me just fine.
Absolutely gorgeous !!
That is so very cool.
Maybe the coolest thing I've seen on here.
Too small to wear, but what a great collectible!

Thanks, everyone!!! This hat is really neat and the felt is so soft and pliable, you could probably roll it into a ball, unroll it, shape it, and wear it. Its very malleable. I had seen the advertisement several times and then one day found this hat in the original tube and it seemed right that I bought the advertisement to pair the two.

Gah! Stop putting things on eBay...in my size...that I want...

LOL. Sorry buddy. I think this is my last hat sale for at least a couple of weeks. If I buy one that I don't like, or its too big, I will probably sell it. I think Ive thinned the herd enough and I'm already trying to formulate ideas for my custom ART. I have a couple pairs of dress shoes to sell, but that's about it.

Lord help me if we wear the same size shoe...

Well I wear a size 11.5 D or 12 D depending on the shoe. I have a pair of newer Allen Edmonds Cliftons in brown but they are size 10.5 D and a beautiful pair of Churchs Bench Made shoes from the 50's. The Churchs are in Brown and were made in England. They are a size 12 D.
