This is probably an unanswerable question but....is the brim soft and buttery as well as the crown or is the brim fairly stiff?
Is it a true 7 or does it fit a little snug?

The felt is nice and able to be shaped. I used "buttery" as more of a textural description. I can almost guarantee you that I am the first to snap the brim down. It may be a little snug as a 7 but keep in mind that this hat has probably not been worn in about 60 years. The sweat band is nice and would easily take a conditioning.
