1940-50s? 8mm Keystone projector

So I got this for 15 bucks at a thrift shop.. and it works like new. It's a Keystone 109AZ 8mm projector.

The problem is I don't know what year this is from.. so let me know if any of you happen to know.

The film was purchased on ebay, it's college football highlights from 1947.. and it's great to watch. I just ordered 2 more; a newsreel of Japans Surrender in WWII, and another of woody woodpecker.

I think it's the coolest thrift shop purchase I've made so far...

btw, i just got Castle Films: Japan's Surrender.. and it's awesome.

does anyone else have a projector? i have some questions about these...

I'd say early to mid-'50s. At first I thought Keystone was another brand made by Revere in Chicago as the design and color scheme is virtually identical to the cameras and projectors made by Revere, but it appears to have been its own company. The number of adjustments and the streamlining of the motor case and light box imply mid- rather than early-. Check out this link:
