Yes, I've seen this commercial bouncing around the interwebs I give them points for the vintage '30s influence.. but as a fan of traditional hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation, flash-based stuff like this can sometimes be difficult to warm up to. Adobe Flash can be a wonderful animation tool. I own it and have used it. But it looks best when the animators go to great lengths to make it appear NOT to have been computer aided. That's not the case here.

I thought the same thing. The '30s animation looked great, the modern add felt forced and thoughtlessly done. I have no problem with using old cartoons in new ways - it can introduce a young generation to them and gives them on going commercial value which will help with their preservation - I just don't think this was done as well as it could have been.
