Excellent condition, leather is supple. Liner clean, patch repair to liner bottom. Front zipper is a replacement period Talon zip, chest pocket zips are original (Kiito, a Finnish zipper manufacturer). Great silhouette on this one, sleeves taper nicely too.

Excellent condition, leather is supple and has an amazing patina, virtually no wear. Liner clean, patch repair to liner bottom on one side. Very useful design - the front half belt is detacheable and it can be belted either over the buttoned jacket or the belt can slide through it (see pics). You may have seen long halfbelts with a button on each side of the backbelt before. Usually they miss the front halfbelt that the buttons are for.

WWII/ 1940s USMC Vandegrift jacket cotton drill KD battledress Sz 36

sleeve length 24" (26" when let out back to original length, sleeve has not been pressed)

The Vandegrift jacket was, to my knowledge, issued to the USMC in the final years of WWII in Australia and probably post-WWII as well. I'm not sure if they issued re-purposed Aussie equipment (from necessity) or a genuine U.S. uniform. It's a khaki drill equivalent of the battledress, comparable to the WWII Aertex battledress and the khaki denim version issued to the British Army in India.

WWII 1944 British Army Chindits Burma Campaign green Aertex battledress

Rare find, even rarer than the khaki denim battledress. This Aertex battldress was issued to the Chindits, the special operations unit of the British and Indian Armies who went into Burma during the Burma Campaign of 1943-44.

With the strap, the waistband can be buckled to fit a 30-35" waist.

1940s German DB zip belted cyclist leather jacket, steerhide, by Tonn of Rosenheim (near Munich).

All original DRP Nurnberg zips, dating the jacket pre-1944. Excellent condition inside and out, very clean jacket with virtually no wear to the leather. Really an amazing piece.

This is a Friitala jacket from the late 1950s or early 1960s. Friitala didn't use horsehide during the 1930s or 1940s.
