1930's-40's Donegal Tweed Suit

Thanks - I don't know, I put on an extraordinary peak-lapel tweed suit a couple of weeks ago at a fairly high starting price, and got only one bid although there were over 30 watchers and nearly 300 views on the page. Of course, when it comes to sales, I am the guy that can't sell $5 bills for a buck apiece!! Happy New Year!

I'll be watching. I'm having a rough go on Ebay as well. I paid too much for a horsehide jacket....seller advertised it as being much larger. Now I can't get a bid on it, even though there was a small bidding war when it was up the first time. Grrr.

Yes, I did sell the other suit - it had a bunch of watchers, but only the one bid. I might have started it out a bit high, so tried a different strategy on this one. The buyer has not reported back - I sent insured with a return receipt & the receipt has not returned yet, so if he doesn't like the suit & returns it I will re-list.

How do you list on UK Ebay? Do you need to do a separate listing?

I always try to provide accurate measurements as well as the tagged sizes - also use myself as a comparison. I am 5'9" and currently 223 lbs, and take an off-the-rack 48R (48 jacket, 42x30 trousers). This one fit me when I was a 46R, although a bit long.

Nope, it's just an option on the second page of your listing of an item. If you don't have any bidders yet, you should still be able to make it "seen" on that site too.
