For many years Stetson produced dress fur felt hats designated as "Royal Deluxe" and "3x". I'd like to hear what others may know regarding the quality of the felt of each, and how the quality of the felt in these two compared to the other. I'm particularly interested in vintage hats. Thanks!

I recently acquired this Stetson hat and I'm trying to find some info on it or date it at least . It's a size 7 6x hat. Based on what I've read ii think it's from the 50s or 60s since it has the plastic shield over the logo. Can anyone else help me or tell me anything?

Friendly employees. They will make you a new ribbon hatband, put a new feather in your hat, clean an old hat, and sell you a Dobbs, Knox, Stetson, Resistol, Wrangler, or Charlie 1 Horse for a third of the cost. It's hard to stay away.:):):)
