Hey guys, I just bought a machine on an antique market and have to figure out how to use it now. Has anybody seen a machine like this before? I think it could probably be a hat lining machine? Any Ideas how to use it? The machine itself is a Singer 24-52 chainstitch machine. Thanks a lot Dirk

I don't now if this has been discussed before. What are they primary types of straw for hats. I know palm straw and , the good panamas. But what is milan straw and sisal straw? Are there benifits to any?[huh]

I don't seem to be able to find a place to answer this. On the high end hats like the more expensive Borsalino hats. What are those shiny grosgrain ribbons made of? Is it 100% Polyester A mix of cotton and rayon? Is it silk? Or something third? Does anybody know?

I'm curious as to what hats you think go better with different situations. I just wear a grey fedora all the time, but what are your thoughts?
