Well, it was a way to try a straight razor without the major expense of the full kit with strop etc. It uses safety razor blades, you just snap them in half.
I bought this not too long ago from The Art of Shaving. I just can't get the hang of it. It's the type that the blade can be changed. I have a partial pack of blades as well. You can see it on their site here: http://www.theartofshaving.com/shop/product/68018/10

An I-16 like this one?

And yes it does fly and it's only twenty minutes away from me. I'll see it tomorrow, in fact. I'll be there to see their P-40 fly.
Is this about the right size for a 13 year old? I'm looking for something for my son. I was figuring a small mens might do the trick. Do you have any pics of the actual jacket? I'll get some measurements from him in the morning.
Thanks --Doug
I've owned this one for 21 years. I drove it for the first ten with very little trouble. It always ran fine and we did our share of off-roading and parades. About ten years ago I decided it was looking a little worn so I decided to strip it down to the frame. My two year rehab lasted ten! I...
I saw it yesterday in 3D. While the effects were very good, there was nothing in the storyline that I found original. It was Dances With Wolves, Ferngully-The Last Rainforest, and the Star Wars battle on Naboo. Thankfully Jar Jar Binks sat this one out.
The thread on calling cards reminded me of this blog of letterheads, some vintage some more modern. Some good stuff here. Click on the source below each photo and you'll find more and some histories.

Absolutely not. Carrying for defense is hardly "looking for trouble". Apparently you're just not getting this concept. Looks like we'll just have to disagree on this. :cheers1:
Going to someone's aid is hardly considered being a vigilante.
"Yes, ma'am, I know you're being beaten. Can't you see I'm dialing as fast as I can! I'm sure a representative of the local police force will be here to help you in 20 to 30 minutes. I'm forbidden to intervene for fear of being a...
I would hardly call that vigilantism. Concern for the wellbeing and safety of others, and the willingness to intervene on their behalf hardly fits the definition.
This thread reminded me of a movie i had seen some months ago. I couldn't remember the title and had William Bendix stuck in my head. I finally found it starring Wallace Beery. The Bugle Sounds

Just finished 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and have started The Early History of the Airplane by Wilbur and Orville Wright. I read them on my Blackberry courtesy of Gutenberg.org. Nice to have some reading handy on the go. I'm also reading Theodore Rex by Edmund Morris while at home.
That is very admirable. I often think the same way. Will I be able to do something if I am witness to someone in trouble. Sort of a shepherd attitude I suppose. I'm not a big guy, but my .38 evens thing up a bit.
A few I remember from my days in the beer biz was Zima Gold and Jack Daniels Hard Cola. Zima Gold puts regular Zima to shame in the nasty ratings. Imagine a product rollout meeting with 30 beer salesmen sampling this stuff and trying to be polite to the Coors reps. It had a bit of a whiskey...
