Preferably in a size from 40 - 44.
I also have a size 40 LW Foster 55j14 I'd be willing to trade for it. The mouton is perfect, no fur dried out or missing whatsoever, aswell as the zipper(Original, black painted 'bar pull' conmar), however the arms are a bit worn, and the cuffs and...
I just picked this up on vintagetrends.com for $175 + shipping, it appears to be a B-15D, though I don't know who made it as the tag is missing. Anyone have any ideas as to who made it? Thanks.
I wish I had my grandfather's A2. That would be MY ideal A2 jacket. Of course, it would probably be one of the more common models than the early 30s versions.
Well they did have a Fried, Ostermann Co. M422A in size 38 with a patch on the chest, awhile back. It was in pretty good condition, too.
But aside from the outrageously priced early MA-1s and B15s, you can pretty much get all the rest of their stuff cheaper on ebay or if you're willing to...
I only wish it was that easy. Unfortunately, I have to worry about not getting accepted because of some current medical issues. I'm hoping that will change soon.
Well, not exactly the same condition, but atleast in wearable condition.
I'd be more interested in find a B3 in the same condition as the two Irvin's above, though I doubt I ever will without having to shell out a ton $$$ in the process.
I'd be more worried about it getting moldy if the fur isn't dried properly, that and it probably isn't very comfortable wearing a wet and furry jacket.
EDIT: Can't contact a mod either. Don't worry, I'll just keep posting(TO MODS: Don't worry, I won't spam ;) ) till I get to 15 posts, I'll contact you then. ;)
I, personally, don't have a problem with anyone wearing a patched up jacket. I do have a problem when they start claiming they were a veteran when they aren't or when they wear medals/campaign bars that they claim they earned when they haven't. That's the difference between claiming something...
Thanks. The guy seemed to know what I needed, as he stated he had worked on jackets like mine before. Don't really know much about the jacket, though I did do a little research and found that the 'V1 DIV' punched into the windflap means that it was probably issued to a ground maintenance...
Found a place locally that'll do the necessary repairs and the owner has some experience with repairing this type of jacket, so I dropped off the jacket there and hopefully it'll be done by next week.:)
Hey all,
Ive been a long time lurker here for awhile now, so I'd thought I'd start off posting by showing my early 50's size 44 Cagleco G1 I picked up. Unfortunately, it needs quite a few repairs, as you can see from the pics;
The zipper pull has broken off of the slider(Sorry for the...
