it was made in january 45, sunken, brought back for overhauling and re-commissioning as testing-platform. now it's a museum - i've been in it several times and it's really...
paisley - i am with you! i grew up in a family of fathers, policemen, hard working people taking care of their families and never spoke about the crap they experienced every day. they just worked and loved their wifes and kids.

3-seasonner
good question, doublegun - i voted for the halfbelt with fur collar, but without extra warm lining for certain reasons:
- the HFQ is thick enough to give very good windshield
- the fur collar will warm your neck and throat (very important agains chilly feeling
- it has storm...
workin' in the beast
hi cooperson - thanks for the hint with working the jacket in; i'll try the same as my brand new halfbelt fur is not in daily use so far because of the coming warm weather.
to do it from the lining side is clever - adopts to the natural movement of the wearer somehow...

that's mine: a Berlin manufactured Hawk Douglas, customized with Harley Davidson Toolroll, 1930ies original Bosch Headlamp (ebay) and modern LED-under-saddle mounted backlight (to avoid police asking funny questions ... )
It's fun and makes my day - every day!
