    If this is piece you like and want to wear them having it tailored would be a good investment. Issue I see is with the functioning cuffs. Some tailors may not be able to adjust it. It would be worth the time to get it looked at.

    Well, all I can say is that you can try and if you don't like it return it. There's nothing else to do. It's decision time. Left or right. The only wrong decision is one you don't make. It's just a jacket. Not a car or house. No one gets hurt if you buy it and don't like it.

    I found this opera hat in the local antique shop. I don't know anything about them and wanted to know what you think of it. The mechanism works well and it somewhat fits. But that's about all I know.

    I bought the summer 1941 as I'm down in Texas. They do run slightly large as it was expected that you're layered underneath. https://www.atthefront.com/Summer-M41-Field-Jacket-p/usujsm41.htm It's still a very comfortable jacket. There's a winter weight version as well.
