That is sharp Lexy. Hard to believe it's green in the photos. Indeed the Oxblood is similar that way. You've got to really play with in the light to see it's bascially a brown.
I should have set the bar a little higher but I'm happy to see it going to a distinguished member of the FL family. Now I'm figuring out what VS to replace it with. Steel Trackside I'm thinking...right now.
Art makes this so hard.
Presuming you mean a couple of Homburgs, they're pretty dressy hats to me.
Suit at very least.
Some can pull off the look with a variety of clothes though.
It's no "fire sale" - I'm itchy for a new hat and just realized these two are not working for me. They're in great shape. The Optimo has been worn a bit, the VS barely. The color just didn't work for me as well as I thought.
After just over a year of being into hats, there are two in my collection that while fine hats, just don't work for me and how I wear hats.
I'm looking to sell the pair to one buyer for $350 to finance another VS.
First up, an Optimo in a color they call Sea Mist which is pretty much a dead on...
I've seen several of him in fedoras lately...maybe he's maturing.
I did a bit of google searching and he's a hat fanatic. Sort of known for ALWAYS wearing a hat.

Optimo?
Stumbled across a blurb that said he's an avid hat collector with 4,000 lids.
A bummer they seem to have been tapped out, but as a person who wears my hats many days of the week, I have to say the oxblood is amazingly versatile.
One of the best color/ribbon combos I've come across for a pretty conservative hat. Stands out nicely too and gets noticed having little to do...
Last year, I had the great fortune of seeing one of Art's hat's in person. I IMMEDIATELY grasped I was looking at something way the f--k above any hat I had seen. It was that damn vintage ribbon I swear. Pulled my eye right in. You'll know when you see it.
I didn't have any hats at the time...
I'm no Bogart expert but he seemed to wear a variety of hats.
I think either Art Fawcett or Optimo would gladly talk you through different possibilities.
BTW, I saw Bogarts suit from one of his movies in a display case here in L.A.
He was fairly small in stature...didn't know about his...
