It really is. Art described it as having reddish tones, as opposed to pecan's greenish tint and whiskey's golden, and it's a shade lighter than chocolate.

Just posted these elsewhere, but Art's masterpieces belong in the Hall of Fame. His latest (a birthday gift from my wife) is a 1930s ArtLite, 2.5 inch brim with wide ribbon (and gold accent on the bow) with wide brim binding. The color is either Chocolate or "Coyote", but either way it is...
Thanks to my lovely wife's generosity, I just received my birthday/Christmas present -- a beautiful new hat from Art Fawcett at Vintage Silhouettes! I already had a Strat clone in Sahara and a wide-ribbon in Blue Smoke, and this one is an unlined Artlite, 6" untapered crown (when not creased)...
