Thanks for your replies everyone! I think I'll just leave them in then, I hope it helps the curl stay a bit longer when I do brush my hair out. I'll report back on how it looks tomorrow ;) -
What are you cooking for Christmas - your traditional foods?
We always have a big dinner with family and friends (about 20 people) at my parents' on boxing day. How long can I keep my rollers in until it's bad for my hair?
Yesterday night I set my hair wet with foam rollers and setting lotion, covered it with a scarf and went to sleep. Today has been a really hectic day with unexpected vet visits, christmas shopping, cleaning and what not, so I kept my scarf on because I didn't have any time to take the rollers... -

Hm, unfortunately most of my hair is straight already (I've only been outside for about 30min total) :( More setting lotion? More hairspray? Well, tomorrow's another day to try, I suppose! -

I do that now and then (with and without a lace net under it), but it just seems like my curls are getting all bunched up in the nape of my neck when I tie the scarf around my head, because my hair is quite long. Or is that precisely what should happen [huh] ? -

By the way, what do you girls do with your hair while sleeping in-between sets? I can totally see my hair being a giant crows' nest when waking up tomorrow.. unfortunately I'm not sure if a hairnet would matter much. Do you put your hair in (random) pin curls for the night? -

My first attempt with hot sticks! So, this morning I tried using hot sticks for the first time. It worked out pretty well! I was a little desperate while taking them out because quite some hairs got tangled around the rubbery sticks, but I got them all out without cutting hair off lol The back... -

I did not use end papers except on one strand that had a lot of layers and wouldn't stay put (I used tissue). I rolled them tight enough to keep the rollers in but tried not to do it too tightly because I read that would ruin the curls. I did not consciously avoid getting a dent lol Two strands... -

Lillemor, my bangs are short! They have been cut just above my eyebrows, and rollers don't fit, so I just swipe a curling iron through to lightly curl them. My natural hair is quite straight, with waves at the bottom. But thanks so much for all the compliments! :o -

My regular (reading) glasses, which I got at a regular optician's. I don't wear them all day long but do need them for watching tv/using my computer/reading, etcetera.
